We began teaching together in the fall of 2019, and it was teacher besties at first site! We navigated the highs and lows of our first year at our school together. We were able to work closely on curriculum development, even while teaching remotely through Covid, as we re-wrote and aligned the French and Spanish curricula of our middle school program to be acquisition-based.

In 2023, we began our blog to share what we have learned with you, our fellow language teachers.

While we now teach at different middle schools, we continue to collaborate and hone our skills to improve our teaching, our programs, and create materials in our respective languages.

In July of 2025, Robyn was a featured presenter at the Practical and Comprehensible: JOY! online conference. Additionally, Catherine writes for El mundo en tus manos, a bi-weekly current events publication from The Comprehensible Classroom.
